The Balanced Man Scholarship

Every fall and spring we offer the Balanced Man Scholarship to freshmen and sophomore men in order to connect with the most outstanding future leaders at Montana State University. Incoming freshmen and current sophomores are eligible for this scholarship. There is no requirement to join the fraternity to be eligible to apply for or win this scholarship. That being said, strong applicants for this scholarship are often an excellent fit to become members of our fraternity. This scholarship process helps MSU’s chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon meet individuals who can contribute to SigEp’s legacy of academic achievement, fostering brotherhood, and Building Balanced Men.

Our fraternity’s mission, “Building Balanced Men,” is achieved through a commitment to the ideals of Sound Mind and Sound Body. We are looking for applicants who live their lives with purpose, exemplifying servant leadership, community involvement, and academic performance. Above all else, we seek individuals committed to continual personal growth. After reviewing scholarship applications, we will host brief interviews before announcing scholarship finalists. Best of luck, we look forward to reading your application!
